On May 13, 2026, we gathered for the biennial SHAI Gala to honor outstanding community leaders and advocates.

We proudly honored Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO and National Director of ADL, with a heartfelt tribute from social media influencer and Miami Marlins partner Ari Ackerman, recognizing Jonathan’s tireless fight against antisemitism worldwide.

We also recognized Natalie Sanandaji, a survivor of the Hamas attack at the Nova Festival, for her courage and advocacy with the Combat Antisemitism Movement.

Three exceptional high school seniors received awards: Kian Daniel Soleymani, Regeneron Science Talent Search Semifinalist; Julian Elihu, Salutatorian of Great Neck North High School; and Tyler Ganjian, Valedictorian of North Shore Hebrew Academy.

The evening was beautifully hosted by Melanie Shiraz, Miss Israel 2025 – 2026, and concluded with a powerful Persian and Hebrew performance by Israeli star Liraz Charhi, known to many as Kadosh from Tehran.
