The Senior Center has had the pleasure of hosting new Monday classes with Claudine Amirian. The class combines qi gong stretching, gentle lymphatic movements, positive meditation, and elements of Persian dance. These sessions support healthy circulation, improve flexibility, and help uplift both mood and morale. Just as meaningful is the sense of connection that is shared — the time together is filled with warmth, laughter, and mutual enjoyment.
Claudine Amirian explains that “we also incorporate the spirit of the holidays into our classes. For example, in honor of Tu B’Shevat, we introduced movements inspired by trees, creating a meaningful connection between nature, tradition and mindful movement. It’s a pleasure working with these ladies. They have a zest for life and are determined to move in any ways they can.”
The Senior Center remains dedicated to serving the evolving needs of our seniors, offering valuable resources today while planning engaging programs for the future.
