SHAI’s Cultural Arts committee is dedicated to preserving Judeo-Persian culture for future generations, cultivating programs that conserve and promote our unique Persian Jewish background for a community now assimilated into American culture. These events range from annual Nowruz programs in both New York City and Great to concerts, uniting a now broad and diverse group with its shared traditions of sound, art, food, and literature.  The Israeli Day Parade is spearheaded by Vice President Michael Shahkoohi (formerly by former President Mike Delafraz), and Great Neck Nowruz programming is spearheaded by Tania Eshaghoff-Friedberg
