Our December 11th gift wrapping chesed extravaganza with the Moise Safra Center and Chai Lifeline was an incredible, and incredibly successful, day. The youth in attendance, ranging in age from 1-17, learned a great deal about the mitzvah of chessed and giving back. Over 250 people attended and over 350 gifts were wrapped. Each age group had its own entertainment and a pre-Chanukah party while giving a smile to a Chai Lifeline child for Chanukah. The older children had fun with the photo booth, the younger children were treated to a science show with Dr. Shnitzel, and then the groups got together to wrap gifts. It was tremendously moving seeing the older children help the younger children wrap gifts for these Chai Lifeline children.
