On November 21st, for the second year in a row, SHAI Young Families held its Gift Their Wish event, a family event run in conjunction with the Moise Safra Center in NYC and Chai Lifeline. Over 150 gifts were collected for the children of Chai Lifeline, with more than 80 moms and children in attendance to wrap the purchased wished gifts and make cards. The participating children enjoyed giving back to the community with friends, while they themselves enjoyed Chanukah treats and balloon creations. Children learned the power of giving to those in need, bringing smiles to sick Jewish children and those less fortunate, and experiencing the reward of doing a huge mitzvah.
