SHAI continued its tradition of marching in the JCRC-NY Celebrate Israel Parade on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Since 1965, people have come together annually to march in expression of their love and support for the State of Israel, and this year the parade marked Israel’s 75th birthday with the theme “Israel at 75: Renewing the Hope.” With over 40,000 marchers, dozens of fabulous floats, marching bands, and exciting Jewish and Israeli musical performers, the Celebrate Israel Parade is the world’s largest expression of solidarity with the State of Israel. After singing together on the buses, SHAI members joyfully marched up Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue, cheering and showing our passion and proud support for the State of Israel, with SHAI banners and Israeli flags waving high.
