On Dec. 17, 2025, SHAI Stars hosted its third annual Hanukkah singles event at Mariner Estate. The event was filled with Sephardi singles enjoying their heritage, music, dancing, and candle lighting!

The SHAI Stars singles community honored was to have Israeli TV commentator Eliyahu Yossian, SHAI President New York State Judge Mojgan Cohanim Lancman, SHAI Board Member Michael Shahkoohi, and award-winning photographer Eliyan Cohen joining us for our great candle Hanukkah lighting ceremony. 

SHAI Stars celebrated Hanukkah’s fourth night with community pride, gratitude to Hashem, and solidarity with Israel. We are grateful to the singles and young professionals for making the Hanukkah evening brighter and more festive.
