On Sunday, December 1, SHAI held a successful coat and clothing drive at the SHAI office. Bags full of gently used coats, warm winter clothing, hats, gloves, scarves, school recital clothes, and shoes were donated. Clothes were sorted and distributed to public schools, clothing pantries, and several gemachs. Additionally, SHAI Youth, along with Rabbi Yamin Levy, delivered the donated clothes to homeless shelters in Hempstead.
