The Persian Parade returned to the streets of New York City on April 24, 2022 and SHAI was there! The beautiful Cyrus Cylinder float bearing the SHAI banner was one of the floats leading the parade. On the float was a large replica of the Cyrus Cylinder and a recorded voice reciting the Cylinder’s declaration of human rights and religious freedom. It was a great day to show the Jewish community’s pride in our Persian heritage and we were happy to participate.
